I've neglected my blog for so long, I had a hard time accessing it...
Here's a post about my Christmas project, 2010 calendars. Lost count of how many of these I made for giveaways (for DH, DD, DS1, DS2 and myself). I must have made more or less 100 pieces (plus packaging)...

Blog Candy Package from Kristen Swain
At last, this blog candy package from Kristen Swain is here! I actually received the notice a few days before the typhoon hit the Philippines (26 September 2009). A lot of things happened after that day so I was not able to attend to this right away. Yesterday (12 Oct 2009), I sent our driver (he just took the bus/tricycle) to the Main Post Office in Quezon City to claim the package. Here it is...
Thank you very much, Kristen! I am very excited to use them...I hope I'll find the time soon!

My first two 2010 Calendars
When the "ber" months came, I decided to make mini-desk calendars and/or mini-albums as Christmas give-aways. I started by cutting my "old" double-sided patterned papers/cardstocks into 4x4's (for calendar pages) and 4x10.5 (for calendar stands). Here are the first two finished mini-desk calendars...

Twisted Sketches Nos. 8, 1-5

TS#08 - Use flower
Title: mother & daughter

I cut a small canvass fabric, used rub-ons for my "Banaue" title, sprayed pearl glitter mist to seal the rub-on, painted some crackle effect on some parts of the fabric, placed the "adventure" sticker and wrote "Fred" and "March 2006" with my uniball signo white pen.
TS#04 - use transparency
Title: Mom & Son
TS#03 - use bling
Title: forever grateful
TS#02 - use die-cut
Title: dengue (not disco) fever
TS#01 - use ribbon
Title: fred: the man, the myth, the legend
That's it, folks! Another project updated...thanks for looking!

Another Discovery - Twisted Sketches!
When I got updated on my Kaya, Card Patterns, 52S52W, whatisyourfavething and SMI3 challenges, I searched the scrapbooking community for another challenge blog that I can join/work on. I found Twisted Sketches (forgot where, though). They are on their 7th sketch...here's my take:
TS#07 - Use Brads or Buttons

TS#06 - Use stamp
Title: me
I have selected the photos for LOs based on TS#01 to 05. I will share the layouts with you once they are done.

Thanks to 52Sketches52Weeks, I was able to finish another LO (inspired by Sketch#30). Here it is...
I am very happy that I am, slowly but surely, filling up my albums and using up my scrapbooking materials (I had been just hoarding for ages...hehehe!).
